  On arrival it certainly wasn’t like in their website.
  The place was dirty, floors not mopped, nothing dusted, food on the stove splash back, musty smell, needs airing, stains on carpet, water purifier needed cleaning, green water and algae, cupboards had stains where wine glasses had been and bits of food, crumbs, fridge handle you could feel the grime along with the kettle, pots where filthy, collider had food in it, needs a mow outside, filthy windows, dead flys and millipedes in corners and window tracks, front door drags open. Place needs a freshen up and a detail. A good mop and sponge with soapy hot water to start. We wanted a nice place to relax for a few nights away from it all and after arriving didn’t even want to spend one.
  Drive in not suitable for low sports cars. Fantastic mobile coverage though, good hot water, very quiet, can’t hear the wind, nice views.

  This place has the potential to be incredible, and the fireplace was awesome. However it is definitely due for a remodel, needs to be cleaned better and the garden area needs a lot of maintenance. Its advertised as a fully equipped kitchen but has no oven and the mattress and pillows are due to be replaced. We we were also very glad we had a 4WD once we got on the property, however it had just rained. Despite all this though, it's a beautiful area and we enjoyed our stay

  Perfect getaway. We escaped the kids for the weekend, spent time going for walks in the area and reconnected. Perfectly appointed, everything we could need was there. thank you.

  My husband and I had a wonderful 2 nights at the Hideaway Cottage with our dog Sanka for our 3 year anniversary.
  
  We loved being 'off the grid' and walking around the property seeing Kangaroos and listening to the birdlife while sitting on the balcony having a cup of tea in the morning.
  
  Everything you needed to cook was at the cottage so we brought all our food and wine to make an anniversary feast.
  
  Gary was great and informative when we first arrived and when we checked out.
  
  If you want to get away from it all and relax then this is the place to go.
